7TV is a free browser extension for Twitch that adds emotes, animated name paints, and animated profile pictures to chat. It is popular with both viewers and streamers for its high-quality cosmetics and large emote library.
What is 7TV?
7TV lives on top of Twitch chat and adds a cosmetic layer that both you and other 7TV users can see. Once installed, it loads automatically on Twitch and shows custom emotes, name paints and animated avatars without needing a separate account or configuration.
Everything is managed from your 7TV dashboard. Cosmetics are synced to your account and stay consistent across browsers and devices.

Start with Chrome or Firefox. Other Chromium browsers can use the Chrome extension as well.
How to get name paints & animated PFPs
7TV cosmetics require an active 7TV subscription. Once you have one:
- Go to 7tv.app and log in with your Twitch account.
- Open User Settings → Cosmetics.
- Browse available Name Paints and equip one.
- For an animated PFP, upload it in settings.
Hover over any emote in chat to see its source and creator.
